Problems In SkyDemon Plan:



Click on the menu item "Mapping" then click on "Geography>" and the menu completely disappears. Hovering over "Geography>" and the sub-menu opens but overlays the "Mapping" menu - I would expect it to display to the right of the already open menu not over the top of this.



Unless I've missed something you seem to have removed all the mapping options from the button bar - I miss this. Please can we have a new (optionally displayed) 'Mapping' button bar as well as a 'planning' and 'weather' bars which are now available.

Can anyone else see this behaviour?

I've done some further work on this and it doesn't occur if the SkyDemon Plan window isn't maximised and moved towards the right of the screen - it seems the sub-menu is trying to open to the left of the parent menu and when main window is maximised it cannot do this as the parent menu is already at the left edge of the physical display and so sub-menu opens on top of the parent menu.



When clicking on the parent menu to open a sub-menu and the sub-menu is overlaying the parent menu the sub-menu grabs the focus before the mouse button is released and then actions the button release as if an item in the sub-menu had been clicked.



Does this make sense to you?

Problem with the print centre:



When looking at "Enroute charts" for a route in the print centre all the airfield names are stuffed into top-left hand corner of the map.

No problems with the menus, whether maximised or otherwise, but the enroute chart in the print centre is as described with text in top left corner

Thanks, we've found and fixed the printing label issue.

The menu issue is proving more elusive and as our menuing system hasn't really changed through the life of the product I don't think it's something arising in this beta.

I've attached images of menu in maxmised and normal windows for clarification. I note that Excel opens the sub-menu to the right of the parent menu if it will not fit to the left. I'm using Vista with all the latest updates.
